Stedman, formerly Misa Winnifred Jensen, who has just returned from New York and Boston, where she has been since her marriage to Lieutenant Stedman early in June, Mrs. Seymour Dorius will entertain enter-tain at breakfast this morning at her homo on Downing avenue. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller entertained at dinner in honor of Mrs. Stedman last nirijt at her home on Twelfth East street. Covers were laid for twelve. Mrs. Arthur Burton entertained at breakfast yesterday morning at her home on South Main street, in compliment to Mrs. Stedman. Covers w,-re laid for sixteen. Miss Ella Neil son entertiined Thursday Thurs-day afternoon at a luncheon and Kensington Ken-sington for Mrs. Stedman at the home of Mrs. C N. Ray on First avenue. Covers Cov-ers wer laid for twenty. Mrs. Moses Saxton and Miss Edna Edwards entertained enter-tained Alonday afternoon at the Edwards home on Third avenue at a Kensington for the bride. Twenty were In attendance. A pretty feature of the entertainments for Mrs. Stedman is that her friends presented her with wedding gifts, which they did not bestow before the wedding because of the date being moved forward and the arrangements made unexpectedly. unexpect-edly. Lieutenant Stedman, who was called to France just previous to the wedding, has now sailed. Dr. and Mrs. J. T. Keith will entertain enter-tain at dinner this evening at their home In Haxton place, in honor of their guest, Mrs. Charles T. BIyth, of Lqs Angeles, sister of Mrs. Keith. Covers will be laid for ten. Mrs. M. M. Nielson will entertain at luncheon today, at her home on Ninth East street, in honor of her sister, Mrs. J. F. Thorpe, who will leave soon to join her husband in Athens Greece. Miss Nell Madsen will entertain at a dancing party tonight in honor of M iss Augusta Peterson and Milton E. James, who will be married next week. The Salt Lake chapter, Order of the Gleam, of the University of Utah, will meet this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of Miss Lillian Burgan, 147 Tenth East street.
