Show TANK RECRUIT WEDS; LEAVES FOR CAMP Local Newspaper Man Marries Salt Lake Girl Before Departing for Fort Logan. Although ready to fight for his country coun-try as a member of the tank corps of the United States army, in which he enlisted ten days ago, Nathaniel Jackson, Jack-son, secretary of the wholesale and retail re-tail department of the Comniercial club, ami formrlv a well known newspaperman, newspaper-man, yesterday surrendered to Dan Cupid Cu-pid and married Miss Ella N. Nelson, chief clerk in the office of Attorney General Dan B. Shields. The wedding took place at Ogden last Thursday afternoon and the ceremony cere-mony was performed by Bishop J. H. Jenkins. Mr Jackson" left yesterdav ar'ter'ajon for Fort Logan, Col'o., where he will remain for a short time, after which he will go into active training for the front at Camp Colt, Gettysburg, Pa. Mrs. Jackson, who is on a vacation vaca-tion of two weeks, remained in Salt Lake and will resume her duties at the capitol. |
