Show J P. GARDNER, who yes- teiday afternoon was married to Mrs. Florence Muir. PHIIEI LDGAL CLOTMIES J. P. Gardner and Mrs. Florence Muir Wed on First Day of Year. J. F. Gardner, head of the firm of Gardner Gard-ner & Adams company of this city, was married yesterday afternoon to Mrs. Florence Flor-ence Muir, who is well known in business circles of Salt Lake, having been engaged for several years in clerical work and stenography. I Jr. George E. Pa vies, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, performed the ceremony at his home, 1047 Third avenue, and the marriage was witnessed by Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Gardner. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. J. r. Gardner left for Florida on a honeymoon trip. After visiting Jacksonville Jackson-ville and other towns in the southern state Mr. and Mrs. Gardner will return by way of Washington, the trip occupying about a month. J. P. Gardner has been a resident of Salt Lake for twenty-six years, during all of which time he has been engaged in the mercantile, ranching and mining business, busi-ness, ilis career here lias been marked with success and he has gained the respect re-spect of all with whom he lias had dealing's. deal-ing's.
