Show 'COUNTY OFFICERS BAR JIMMIES Installation Will Be of Democratic Simplicity; Takes Place at Noon. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN". Jan. 1. Although it will .be the first Demooratic administration for Weber county in twenty years, no ceremonies cere-monies of a formal nature will mark the installation of the new county officers offi-cers here tomorrow. The change will be made at noon, the retiring officer? to completo their terms of service at r 12 o'clock and the new officials to take charge at 1 o'clock. In the case of the county commissioners t lie change wilt be macks during the morning' meeting after the ytresent board has completed a email amount of unfinished business. Chairman William C. Hunter and Warren G. Child are the retiring; members mem-bers of the county board, Moroni Skeeu bring the holdover Republican member. The new commissioners are Martin P. Brown and D. H. Ensign. It is quite probable that Commissioner-elect Brown will be made chairman of the board. As "announced several weeks ago, those appointees are Dr. W. K. Emmett, county coun-ty physician ; Mrs. H. H. The board will also be required to confirm the appointment of all deputies under - the other county officers-elect. The . bonds of the principals in office have been approved bv the outgoing board, .but the bonds of the deputies will be passed upon by the new board. The new judges for the Second judicial judi-cial district will open their first court sessions for the WebeT county division at 0:45 o'clock tomorrow morning, this hour being fifteen minutes earlier than has prevailed under The administrations of Judges James A. Howell and Nathan J. Harris. Judge Alfred W. Agee will use the courtroom formerly occupied by Judge. Howell, and has announced his appointment of James M. Johnson of Omaha, Neb., as court reporter. Judge Arthur E. Pratt will occupy the courtroom court-room formerly used by Judge Harris, and has retained Harold J. Packer as his eort reporter. |
