Show JOHNSON OF OMAHA FOR STENOGRAPHER Special to The Tribune. OGDEN", Jan. 1. In accordance with his; pre-election pledge, to inaugurate a policy pol-icy of economy with regard to the salary of court reporters. Judge-elect Alfred W. Agee of the Second district court announced an-nounced today the appointment of James M. Johnson of Omaha, Neb., as official stenographer in his division of the district dis-trict court. Mr. Johnson arrived in Og- den today and will be followed within a" few days by his wife and two children. Mr. Johnson has been official reporter in the district courts at Omaha and Council Bluffs. Iowa, for the past six years. Before his appointment Judge-elect Judge-elect Agee received numerous recommendations recommen-dations as to his skill and ability. The new court reporter will succeed Miss Eva C. Erb. who iias been stenographer in Judge J. A. Howell's division of the district dis-trict court for the past several years. Judge-elecL Arthur E. Pratt has retained Harold J. Parker, reporter under Judge Nathan J. Harris. |
