Livingston, form tho directorate. Tho Cardiff Mining company's tunnel Is now in about 1875 feet. Three shifts are being worked. The Cardiff's last consignment of ore, sixty-nine tons, was shipped In December and brought $3300. Manager U. A. Dunyon of the Scran-ton Scran-ton mine at Tlntlc, Is In the city for a week's stay. M. M. Johnson, tho well-known engineer, engi-neer, who has boon in California on a vacation, Is now In Mexico, where ho will spend two weeks on professional business.
