Show PROMINENT ELK DEAD. Summons Received Just After He Had Been Chosen Exalted Ruler. Special to Tho Tribune. ANACONDA, Mbnt., March 7. Will 13. Coleman, well-known throughout Elkdom In tho northwest and one of the most prominent members of the order In Montana, Mon-tana, died without knowing that he had been elected exalted ruler of the Anaconda Ana-conda lodge. While brother Elks were bestowing upon him the highest honor within their power, life' was slowly ebbing eb-bing away and the final summons came early in the morning. Mr. Coleman had been ailing for soma time, but his illness did not take a serious seri-ous turn until about a week ago. He was the boii of Mr. nnd Mrs. Low Coleman of Deer Lodge, pioneers of tho state, and had held with credit many positions of trust. He was a member of the Anaconda Ana-conda camp. Sons of Veterans, and secretary sec-retary of the Deer Lodge County Fair association. |
