Show ARMY OFFICERS ARE RETIRED BY BOARD WASHINGTON, March 7. To stim-ulato stim-ulato promotions among officers, three army colonels, who wore found incapacitated incapac-itated for further sorvico, were retired this week and the cases of three other officers are awaiting final action. The officers retired are Colonel William Wil-liam A. Nichols, infantry; Colonel Lea Febicer, Sixth infantry, and Lieutenant Lieuten-ant Colonel Jacob F. Itrons, infantry. Colouel Daniel Cornman. Seventh infantry, in-fantry, and Colonel Millard F. Harmon, Har-mon, coast artillery, have been examined exam-ined by a retiring board at Washington, Washing-ton, and Major James P. Hughes, First cavalry, has appeared before a board in San Francisco. Colonel Frederick von Schraedor, Colonel Webster Vinson of tho quartermaster quarter-master corps and Chaplain Georgo H. JoncB of the coast artillery have been ordered up for examination by retiring boards. |
