Tho New York members of tho oxecutivo board of the National Woman Suffrage association asso-ciation loft today for Birmingham, Ala., to attend the first of several conferences confer-ences which will discuss plans for enfranchising en-franchising tho women ot tho south. Dr. Anna Howard Shaw, president of tho organization, did not accompany the party. Injuries sustained recently when she "fell from a railroad train prevented. pre-vented. They will gather in Birmingham Birming-ham March 0 and 10. Tho immediate aim of tho gathering will be tho adoption of woman suffrage amend-ments amend-ments in Alabama.
