OCR Text	Show GOING TO WORK ON THE PIUTE PROJECT For the purpose of personally representing represent-ing the state engineering department and supervising the construction of the new four-mile extension of the canals of the Plutc project, .1. L. Rhead and R. W. Candkind of the state engineers' ofriet-will ofriet-will leave this morning for Gunnison. Mr. tRhead will act as resident engineer of tho project and Mr. Onmliand a his assistant. The contract was recently let to the Mcndenliall-Blid.straw Construction company com-pany and work will be bogun tomorrow morning. The canal extension will run north four miles from a point ;i short distance north of Gunnison.
