Show FARMERS CAN EASILY GIVE BIRDS TREAT Tho best and cheapest Christmas present that fanners ot the state can give is a holiday treat for tho birds. This is the suggestion of Fred W. Chambers, state fish and game commissioner. commis-sioner. Mr. Chambers says that if farmers farm-ers and even city residents wish to bo real Good Fellows thoy should throw out a quantity of wheat and crumbs from tho tablo so that the birds can glean a meal. In the country it will be the quail that will appreciate this treat, while snowbirds and a few song birds who like Utah's climate woll enough to stay all winter, will benefit from' the food, both in city and country. |
