Par- W rot Brothers of Portland, Ore., have just 111 completed the big sewer contract upon i which they have been working for sev- t j eral months. This was an extension con- j tract and did not cover any of the busi- j) i ness district, which was completed sev- j eral years ago. In this contract they laid j; 5020 feet of 25-Inch pipe. 2S27 feet of 18- I j Inch pipe, Hr.5 feet of 15-Inch plpo, 27S9 feet of 12-Inch pipe, 700 feet of 10-inch Ik pipe and '25,201 feet of S-Inch pipe, mak- lng a total of 28,205 feet of pipe, at a Mj cost of S61.739.55. During tho progress W of the work one man was. killed and two badly Injured by being caved In upon.
