I ! Proving that he is champion on a , motorcycle, as well as on a bicycle, W 1 E. Samuelson was the hero of the motor- i j cycle racing at the Wandamere motor-t motor-t drome Saturday night. Ho won the flf-i flf-i teen-mile professional handicap and the i , six-mile open professional, beating such , stars as Jake De Rosier, Hubert Kettle ', and T. M. Samuelson. In the fifteen-mile professional handi-, handi-, cap, the feature event of the programme, , Jake De Rosier and Hubert Kettle start ed from scratch. W. E. Samuelson and Steve Senhouso had a handicap of two laps. For Ave miles Kettle and Do J Rosier were abreast all of the way and ; the race between the two was a thrilling1 one. De Rosier had his new Indian motorcycle, mo-torcycle, while Kettle rode a new Merkel. In the fifth mile Kettle's tire came off. putting him out of the race. ,De Rosier lapped Samuelson and Senhouso once, but could not pick up the other lap. The . . Judges made a mistake at the finish of j the race and announced that De Rosier 5 1 had won. The mistake was rectified later I and Samuolson was clven first money. I!'
