For Miss Marguerite Williams and Miss Elizabeth Holdeman who are puests at the George T. Odell home, Miss Winnifred Bride entertained with a luncheon at the Country club Wed-nesdaj-. The' goldenglow was used in charming effect, the place cards being carried out in gold and white, with the monogram of the hostess adorning the corner. Mrs. Frank P. In the house the color scheme of yellow was effectively carried car-ried out with enrysanthemums, the rooms being darkened and the lights all shaded in yellow which threw a rich golden glow over the guests. The Misses Vilate and Gertrude Romney pleasantly entertained at a lawn party Saturday evening. The large lawns were brightly decorated with brilliant Japanese lanterns, and punch was served from a- booth decked in the lanterns. Games were a feature of tho evening. One of the most prominent features was the table decoration, tho center of which was graced by a large silver mounted mirror on which an immense im-mense cut glass bowl of sweet peas was placed, and the supper was served in typical Japanese style.
