Geiger were the recipients of a "charivari" in which every one in camp took part. Tin cans, kettles, drums and every available noisy article was hunted up' and brought into service. serv-ice. The young couple was put into a dump cart' and milieu by tho cottagers from ono ond or tho camp to tho other, each one bearing a light of some kind. Tho procession was neaded by King llarwood- with the cottagers following closely behind, the two faithful canines ca-nines owned by Mr. llarwood completing complet-ing the laughable spectacle. Altogothcr tho affair will bo a memorable ono to those taking part as well as the newly-weds. Tho dancing party givon at tho hall Friday evening was largely attended, at-tended, excellent music being furnished for the occasion. A plensant afternoon was onjoyed by a number of cottagers on Tuesday when the friends at Bridal Cottage No. 23 entertained at cards. Master Charles Groshell entertained tho following young people at a candy pull Monday ovening: Anna Spalding, Virginia Bing, In gar Kurd, Harry Bing, David T. Geiger, Georgo Grimsdell, Lawrence Ilurd, Frank Grimsdell and Both Swcnson. Mrs. Van D. Spalding entertained at a jolly card party Monday afternoon for a small company of friends. After a number of games of 500 dainty refreshments re-freshments were served. Those who enjoyed tho affnir were Mesdames O. K. Groshell, J. W. Geiger, A. E. Ilurd, Georgo Winsness nnd Charles Shields. Mrs. O. 13. Groshell gave a beautifully beautiful-ly appointed dinner on Sunday, complimentary com-plimentary to a number of tno cottagers. cot-tagers. Sunflowers and ferns were used in decoratinc tho table, about which were seated Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Grimsdell, Mr. and Mrs, J. W. Geiger, Mr, and Mrs. Yan D. Spalding, Mrs. Charles Shields, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Ilurd, Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Hawley, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Bcebo and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Buyer. Mrs. George Winsness, who has been the guest of her sister and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Van D. Spalding, returned to her homo in Saalt Lake on Wednesday. Mr. and' Mrs. Ed Buyer went down to the city Wednesday and returned Saturday. Miss Graco Wallaco has gone homo after an extended visit with Miss Mae Hawley at Sunshino Circle. Mrs. E. McCarrick and three daughters daugh-ters broke up camp on Tuesday and returned re-turned to thoir homo in tho city, Mrs. Walter Scott, Mrs. J. T. Treasure, Treas-ure, Miss Orlie Johnson, lioy and Carl Scott of Salt Lako spent Sunday in camp visitiug with their friends. Virginia and Harry Bing went down to the city Thursday" to meet their parents par-ents who have just returned from a trip through Yellowstone. Mr. and Mrs. John W. Geiger and sister, Mrs. Charles Shields, have returned re-turned to thoir home in the city. Miss Celia Swenson and Mrs. Fugatc who have been tho guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Grimsdell havo returned to the city. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Kurd nnd two children, who havo been occurring tho cottago "Drop Inn," will break up camp the first of tho week. The Misses Catherino aud Grace Smith spent several days in Salt Lake tho past week. Mrs. Berg of Provo is the guest of hor daughtor, Mrs. O. E. Grosholl, at "Charles tho Third" cottage.
