Show Nation-Wide Revival Is Being Planned by, Laymen of the Protestant Churches. HOPE TO REACH EVERY MAN FROM COAST TO COAST Millions in Cash Behind the Movement, and No Aid Will Bo Asked. By Incased Wire to The Tribune. BUFFALO, N. Y., Aug. 20. Tho Evangelist Committo of Forty, headed by James G. Cannon, president of tho Fourth National bank of Now York City, -which will conduct a nntion--wido campaign against evil, will hold a meeting meet-ing in Niagara Falls on Monday to outline out-line further plans for the great national revival. The crusade proper "will not start until un-til September 15, 1911, and in tho intervening in-tervening year olaborato arraugomcnts will bo made so that tho movoment can start simultaneously in every sttito in tho union. It is planned to mako this tho most gigantic evangelical crusade in tho history his-tory of Christianity, and it will bo backed by ovory lay organization con nectcd with tho Protestant church. Tho campaign will last a year and a half, and it is hoped that, in that timo, an appeal will bo made personally to overy man in the United Statos. Appeal to All Classes. Ninety cities will be centers, of tho crusade. Bankers will bo utilized as evangelists and meetings will bo hold in churches. Btoros. Y. M. C. A. buildings, build-ings, factories, farms and opora houses. Invitations will bo extended personally to men of all classes, from financiers down t'J -the men doing tho lowliest labor. la-bor. C, A. will lend speakors; so will the Congregational brotherhood, tho Methodist brotherhood of Andrew and Phillip, tho Presbyterian brotherhood, tho Baptists and the St. Andrew's society of tho Episcopal church. Every man engaged in tho work will be a layman, without any direct help from any church or minister.
