IRAN GETS CONTRACT ON THE INTERSECTIONS Matter Is Passed Upon hy tho Board of Pnhlio Works. The contract for repaying tho four street Intersections at Main and West Tomplo strootii and First and Second South streets was awarded lo P. J. Mo-ran Mo-ran by thu Board of Public Works at a mooting held Saturday moruing. Tho contract prico for tho work is $2,05 a square yard, all of tho iutoraoctions to bo pav'ed with asphalt and tlio plan to pave part of them with croo-rusinato blocks has boon abandonod, tho prico being doemod prohibitive. Mr. Moran was nlso awarded tho contract for making all tho repairs on the street pavomonts which will bo made necessary through the excavations for tho mains of tho Utah Gas & Coko company. The contract prico for this work is $1.95 a square yard for the asphalt work, and whore tho concroto bod has to bo put in tho prico will bo $8.50 n cubic vard. This work is all to bo paid for hy the Utah Gas & Coko company, but is performed under tho supervision of the Board of Public Works.
