TWO M ARRESTS . Ill TTJE CASE Report Is That Further Charges of Conspiracy and Forgery Will Be Made. PITTSBUEG. July 28. That two raoro arrests aro to bo made in connection con-nection Tvith tbo scandal growing out of the Hartjo divorco trial was rumored today. Tho persons, it is said, have boen prominently identified with tho oase and tho arrests are to be mado after the court has received all the evidence evi-dence in tho divorce proceedings. Tho charges, it is said, will bo forgery for-gery and conspiracy. Assistant District Attorney John S. Eobb admitted today that he had in his possession tho deposition of a man whoso first name is "William," in which it is stated that a dotoctive had offered him money to substantiate Clifford Clif-ford Hooo's story that ho was intimate with Mrs. Ivlary Scott Hartjo, tho respondent re-spondent in the'divorco case. Offered Stage Career. Mrs. Hartjo has received letters from all parts of the world, extending to her symnathv. Offers to cro on the staere havo also been received from New York theatrical managers. Mrs. Hartjo ha3 paid no attention to the proffers. In addition to tho letters from theatrical the-atrical managers, Mrs. Hartjo has received re-ceived numerous letters from women's clubs, women of domestic lifo and shopping girls. It is said that Mr, Hartjo has also received re-ceived letters assuring him of kindly feeling. Counsel for Augustus Hartje today worked on their plans for counteracting counteract-ing the effect of the testimony given yestorday by their witness, Susie Wagner, Wag-ner, whoso admission that sho had received re-ceived a letter from Mrs. Hartjo which heretofore has uot been known, is ro-garded ro-garded as very important by attorneys and others who aro following tho case. Although iu deference to Judge Robert Rob-ert S. Frazer's expressed wishes, they will not discuss their case out of court it is understood. Susio will be placed on the stand again and an effort made to show that slie was mistaken about this new letter.
