Show PRESENT OPERATIONS IN TINTIC PORPHYRY - The Eureka Reporter, telling of tho week at TIntlc. says: Work In the extreme south end of "porphyry "por-phyry district" of Tlntlo Is almost at a standstill at tho present time, and while nomo mining men are Inclined to take a P08stmlBtlc view of tho situation, others aro of tho opinion that tho future of this section of the district Is by no moans gloomy. In conversation with tho writer, a prominent mining man who Is heavily Interested In that locality said that, in his opinion, all that Is needed to place tho porphyry district on the same footing with tho balance of tho TIntIc district U enough capital to explore tho ground to a much greater depth. Dave Coleman was In Salt Lake tho early part of tho wook for the purpose of eettllng up with the Bulllon-Bock company com-pany for ore taken from his loose In that mine. Tho machinery of the Tesora mill, southeast of SUvor City, haa been purchased pur-chased by tho Columbus Consolidated Mining Mi-ning company and will bo moved to Alta. The machinery was used but llttlo prior to tho shut-down of the mill and Is In good condition. |
