This is not the case with Anthony Skedros and Paul Jensen of Viewmont. THE TWO seniors split time at the weak outside linebacker spot for the Vikes and both openly admit to pulling for the other when on the sidelines. "Anthony is better against the pass because he's quicker and has better hands." LAST WEEK in the win over Highland it was Anthony that stepped in front of a would be receiver and went 83 yards for a Viking touchdown. "He read the play perfectly" noted Paul. "1 saw the back coming all the way" admitted Anthony, "they had run the play before in the first quarter. The coaches told me to play the ball so I just stepped in front and took it in full stride." Anthony played little league all throughout his youth while Paul only played one year. "1 just wasn't into football at that time" noted Paul. "I was in instant pain and was in a cast for six weeks but it took all summer to recover." He went on to note that it wasn't worth the chance . of reinjuring himself in football. foot-ball. WATCHING HIS friends go to state and enjoy the success they did last year was hard on Anthony "to watch my peers was tough especially when they went as far as they did in state." Both of them are excited to play for new man Mark Pierce, "he is so enthusiastic about everything" they both noted. "The entire staff is young and fun to be around. They're the type of guys who go hunting with, they're more personal with everyone" they both-noted. both-noted.
