Show Rites Held For Rov Lancaster ' I Ox . iL V "par- jfjy yf Roy B. Lancaster, age 75, died Oct. 18. 1981 in a local hospital of a heart attack. He was born March 4, 1906 in Salt Lake City, a son of Orson Roy and Susan Christina Miller Lancaster. He married Emily Brown Sept. 30, 1927. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. HE WAS a retired conductor for UP railroad, a member of Old Dimers Club No. 12 and an active member of the Bountiful 15th Ward High Priest group. Including his wife his survivors survi-vors are: son, Roy B. Lancaster, Lancas-ter, Jr., Salt Lake City; daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. T.K. (Beverly) Bishop, Bountiful; six grandchildren grand-children and seven greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Ida E. Moroni, Pleasant Hills, Calif. FUNERAL SERVICES were held Oct. 22 in the Bountiful 15th Ward Chapel. Interment ROY B. LANCASTER in the Bountiful Memorial Park under the direction of Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary. Farmington By KATHRYN JENNINGS 451-2027 Bishop Derald and Berwyn Tilley entertained with a birthday birth-day party for their son, Craig, and daughter. Sandra T. Rig-by, Rig-by, on Monday evening. Craig has a birthday Oct. 1 7 and Sandra San-dra Oct. 19. There was a dinner followed by games and fun, with Tilley family members coming from Brigham City, American Fork and cities in Davis County. There were also members of the Miller Family and Rigby family present. Stephen Tilley, Til-ley, who is on a mission in Colombia, Col-ombia, South America, was the only family member not present. The First Ward Relief Society Socie-ty will meet in the Rock Chapel Nov. 5 for several special projects. pro-jects. The members have been working on first-aid kits of various va-rious sizes. The organization will take CPR training and a course instructing what to do in case of an emergency. Farmington Fifth Ward Relief Re-lief Society will meet in the Rock Chapel at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 4 with members dressed as small girls. There will be a variety of displays including dolls which members and others have owned. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. followed fol-lowed by displays and Christmas Christ-mas crafts. There will be lessons les-sons for Christmas crafts which children can make, including in-cluding stuffed Christmas trees. Sheryl Towers of Kaysville and Linda Johnson of Syracuse Syra-cuse have instructed the members mem-bers in various types of classes. clas-ses. There was a display recently re-cently of various foods, making mak-ing them interesting and attractive attrac-tive so that young children will really eat and enjoy them. The Ninth Ward Relief Society Soci-ety recently had a lesson on wheat weaving by Shawna Myers of Centerville, and Colleen Col-leen Padlock gave a demonstration demon-stration on making pocket bread. There was also a demonstration de-monstration on how to make Russian meat turnovers and other interesting classes. Lin-da Lin-da Arnell arranged this meeting. Julian and Thelma Oviatt have had their son for a visit. Tom Oviatt lives in Concord, Calif, and is employed by No Nonsense Pantyhose, as a representative rep-resentative in northern California Cali-fornia and Arizona. |
