Show BAZAAR PLANNED Golden Years Center will sponsor a bazaar Nov. 6 to include arts and crafts that would make beautiful gifts for the holiday season. Homemade Home-made candy, bread and other goodies will also be sold. Pictured, 1 to r, are Velda Haacke, Elizabeth Smedley and Betty Baker. The Golden Years Center annual bazaar on Nov. 6, is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. THERE WILL be beautiful displays with many items for sale which the seniors have made. The arts and crafts make beautiful holiday gifts which the public may purchase. pur-chase. There will be homemade candy, breads and other goodies for sale, all made by the seniors. BETTY Anderson will present pre-sent piano music on Nov. 4 at 11:30 a.m.. during the lunch hour. Then after the concert she will give a demonstration on African violets, with questions ques-tions and answers, this is at 12:30 p.m. There is always a need of volunteers at the Center, anyone any-one who would like to volunteer volun-teer several hours each week should stop in and talk with one of the personnel there. THERE IS also a need for programs at various times for the seniors, so anyone or group of people who would like to help with any volunteer work could call 295-3479. kj |
