Show Named Outstanding By USU Kappa Delta sorority and a member of the senior honorary Alpha Sigma Nu. She was also the first femal cheerleader at USU. She has maintained a continued con-tinued interest in the university universi-ty and is a charter member of the Friends of the Merrill Library Lib-rary at USU. She is also a member of the board of the group. Hazel Parkinson, who lives in Bountiful, was one of four people to receive the Distinguished Disting-uished Service Award from Utah State University Oct. 23. The four were honored during the annual Homecoming Homecom-ing activities at USU. Mrs. Parkinson has been a writer and editor with the Salt Lake Tribune for 27 years.
