They were wed in the St. George LDS Temple. She is the former Patricia Jane Petty, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. F. II. Petty of Cedar City. Wedding Reception For DanN.Maglebys A beautiful reception Thursday evening, Sept. 8, at the home of the bride's parents honored Mr. and Mrs. Dan N. Magleby, whose marriage was solemnized that morning in the St. George LDS temple in a double ring ceremony performed by President Harold S. Snow. The bride is the former Patricia Jane Petty, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. F. H. Petty of Cedar City. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Newejl Magleby of Monroe, Utah. The bride's gown was of beau-tiful beau-tiful lace over white satin with bouffant skirt, long pointed sleeves and deep scalloped neckline. neck-line. Her fingertip veil of bridal illusion fell from a small pearl trimmed hat and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and yellow roses centered with tiger orchids. The bride's sister, Beatrice Shaw, was matron of honor and wore a gown of avacado green taffeta. Leora George, sister of the bride, and Shannon and Susan Su-san Magleby, twin sisters of the bridegroom, were the bridesmaids and were gowned in identical dresses of beige taffeta. Five little lit-tle flower girls, a.U nieces of the bride, were adorable in orange taffeta dresses and carried bas- kets of fall flowers. Standing as best man for the bridegroom was his brother, David Magleby. Following the reception the happy couple left for a honeymoon honey-moon trip to San Diego. |
