Show Diane Rember plans June Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence A. Rember are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Diane to Steven R. Hafen, son of Mr. and Mr s Ralph R. Hafen, Cedar City. The marriage ceremony will be performed Friday, June 6, 1980 in the St. George LDS Temple. A reception in their honor will be given that evening by the parents of the bride in the Hearth Room at the Sugar Loaf Cafe from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Diane has been active in school and church affairs. She was Student body President at Cedar Jr. High, a member of the Abitas and Mohey Tawa Marching team in high school. She was active in Student Government Govern-ment and served as Senior Class Vice President. She was a contestant in the 1978 Miss Utah Tennage Pageant held in Salt Lake City and was selected as one of the top finalists. After graduating from Cedar High, Diane attended the Univesity of Utah for one year and returned to Cedar in September, 1979 to complete her sophomore year at SUSC. She is currently serving as Youth Representative for the Cedar Stake Young Adults. Steve graduated from Cedar High School in the spring of 1974. He was a member of the ACappella and Madrigal singing groups and a member of the CHS tennis team. He was also active in Student Government. Govern-ment. Steve spent two years in Italy serving as a missionary for the LDS Church before returning to college at SUSC, where he was again active in Student Government serving as Jr. Class Senator, as well as being a member of the ACappella Chorus. He will graduate with a BS Degree in Business Administration on May 30, 1980. He has been very active in his church affairs and is currently teaching a Priesthood class. He has also been active in church and community baseball and other sports. The young couple plan to make their home in Cedar City after returning from their honeymoon trip.
