Show Parowan LL play gets underway Jo Robb had a double and two singles. For Jones, Mark Robinson had two doubles and Shane Jones had a double and a triple in a losing effort. May 22: Pit Stop defeated Parowan Lumber 9 to 3 with Shalynn Neilson the winning pitcher. Taking the loss was Brett Cranford. Doubles were hit by Sean Lamoreaux, Herbie White and Shalyn Neilson. Kristin Allen collected three doubles for Parowan Lumber. May 23: Bank of Iron County defeated Boyers 28 to 7. Ken Cooper was the winning pitcher with Doug PAROWAN - Parowan Little League baseball is now underway with one game being played each Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and a double header on Saturday. The league is composed of six teams. Results of games through Saturday of last week follows: May 13: Pet Store over Boyers 12 to 3. May 14: Fads over Jones Piano 16 to 11. May 15: Parowan Lumber over Boyers 13 to 8. May 16: Bank of Iron County over Fads 9 to 1. May 17: Pit Stop over Jones Piano 8 to 3 and BOIC over Parowan Lumber 21 to 3. May 20: Fads defeated Boyers 13 to 11 with Jeff Wood the winning pitcher and Robert Hughes suffering the loss. Extra base hits for Fads include a triple by Alan Riggs and Dean Hamill a triple. For Boyers Darren Hyatt had two doubles. May 21: BOIC defeated Jones Piano 17 to 8. Winning pitcher was Layne Bess with Jason Green suffering the loss. Dave Green was the big hitter for the bank crew with a single, double and triple to his credit. Matt Austen had a double and a single and Alisa Bayles suffering the loss. BOIC really had their hitting shoes on as Dave Green belted a home run and two doubles; Ken Cooper doubled as did Alisa Jo Robb and Damon Greet and Matt Austin both had two doubles. For Boyers they had two doubles, one each by Lucus Strickland and John Hanks. May 24: Jones Piano defeated Parowan Lumber 20 to 14. Travis Johnson was the winning pitcher and Brett Crawford was the loser. Mark Robinson had a pair of doubles for Jones while Kristin Allen was the big hitter for Parowan Lumber w with two singles and a home run. May 24: Pit Stop over Fads 12 to 1 with Sean Lamoreaux pitching up the win. Losing pitcher was Mitchell Adams. Fads had no extra base hits. For Pit Stop, Sy Smith doubled, Sean Lamoreaux had a pair of doubles in the extra base category. |
