Show T & C leading National LL Ron's squeaked by Lions 9-8 9-8 in the first game of last week. Bonzo and Gubler were the winning pitchers with Bulloch doing the catching. . Leading the scoring for the winners were Smith with 2 doubles and Webb with one. Lions scoring resulted from walks, singles and hit pitches. Bragger and Hinton shared mound duties with Greenahlgh and Woodbury catching. Garden Park over-powsered over-powsered the Rolling Rubber team 16-2 with Imlay and Blackner pitching. Their catcher was M. Middleton. Doubles were hit by T. Black and K. Gale. Rolling Rubber's score came in the fourth and sixth innings with one run each inning. S. Barrick and Fullmer did the pitching with Clark behind the plate. It was .another close one with Arctic Circle defeating Tink's 8-7. Schexneyder and Staples took turns catching and ptiching. Tink's pitching was done by Peterson and Lunt with Dennett in. catching cat-ching position. Ron's shut out the Elks 6-0 with Gubler going the distance on the mound and R. Bulloch and S. Esplin catching. B. Smith led the scoring effort with a double in the third inning. Mitchell and McComas pitched for . Elks with T. Topham behind the ; plate. ' It was another shutout only with a bigger margin as Garden Park defeated Town ' & Country 15-0. Winning pitchers were Anderson and Jolly with M. Middleton cathcing. A double by S. Stout led the scoring effort. Pitcher for Town & Country was Black and B. Matheson did the catching. Earlier in the season Arctic Circle defeated Elks 13-2; Tink's were over Rolling Rubber 10-8 and Town and Country squeaked by Ron's 8-7.
