Show John Westwood rejoins State Bank Westwood is now living in Cedar City with his wife, Mary Ellen Schmutz Westwood, and their two children, Nathan and Kymberlee. They are active Eldon Schmutz, Cashier at State Bank of Southern Utah, today announced the appointment of a new Operations Officer at the Main Office of the locally owned institution. John Westwood, a former SUSC Student Body Officer, will fill the position at State Bank. Westwood most recently was a Branch Manager in the Sugarhouse Office of Tracy Collins Bank and Trust in Salt Lake City. He has been with Tracy Collins for the past three years, since his graduation from Southern Utah State College in 1977. John graduated with high honors with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Ad-ministration. While at SUSC, he was selected as Executive Financial Affairs Coordinator Coor-dinator and was also chosen as Public RElations President for the LDSSA Organization. During' his Senior year at SUSC, John was also employed as teller at State Bank of Southern Utah. "We are very happy to be back in Cedar City," stated Westwood, "and hope to make our permanent home here." In addition to his other accomplishments, West-wood West-wood ' has also served as Piute High School Student body President, as team captain for that school's basketball team, was chosen Chapter President for the Piute Chapter of Future Farmers of America, served a LDS mission to Northern Italy, and has served in the SUSC 5th Branch Presidency. "We welcome John to the State Bank family, and are pleased to have been able to find a man with both the technical background and the ties to Southern Utah that John brings to his new position," said Mr. Schmutz. |
