January 31, 1952, for oil and gas leases on the following described parcels of individually allotted, restricted Indian lands, located within the jurisdiction of the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation, iu Uintah County, State of Utah, all of which lands as hereafter described are within the Salt Lake Base and Meridian Survey, and contain 701.03 acres, more or less, to wit: f Unit Allotte Mo. Range 21 East, according accord-ing to Patent Issued December De-cember 18. 1923 243.lt Each unit is offered for separate sep-arate lease, for a cash bonus la addition to the stipulated royalties royal-ties and rental of $1.25 per acre per annum. The successful and responsible bidders for any lease will be required to pay in advance an annual rental of $1.25 per acre, the cost of advertising ad-vertising and a filing fee of $5.00 for each lease contract consummated. Conditional or alternate al-ternate bids will not be accepted and no drilling propositions wiU be considered as a part of the bonus offer. A deposit of 20 per cent of the bonus bid and 20 per cent of the advance rental for the I first year must accompany the Ibid and be in the form of a I certified check or bank draft drawn orra solvent bank, pay-la pay-la ble to the Treasurer of the United States. The sale will be held and the leases executed in accordance accord-ance with the Act of March 3. 1909 (35 Stat. 781. 783) and Title 25, Part 189, as amended or supplemented. Lease Form 5-154 will be used. The successful bidder will be required to prepare his own leases and secure the signatures of all Indian owners. The leases must be completed and returned together with all supporting: papers within 30 days from date of award, together with the balance bal-ance of the bonus and rental payments and the $5.00 lease fee. An additional period of time will be granted for good and sufficient reason upon request made prior to the expiration of the original 30-day period. The Superintendent reer vei.the- right as a condition precedent to the granting ot any extended period oi time for filing a lease, to require the deposit of any remaining sums due and owing on the lease, including the balance bal-ance of the bonus bid and the first year's rental. Failure of the successful bidder to comply with the terms of the sale and the regulations, will render his deposit liable to forfeiture in the discretion of the Commio-sloner Commio-sloner of Indian Affairs. Leases not completed within . the required re-quired length of time . will be subject to revaluation of bonus and sales may be cancelled and deposits forfeited unless for good and sufficient reason an. extension of the filing period i? granted. These tracts of allotted lands are offered subject to the exer cution of the leases by the adult individual owner. The right is reserved by the Commissioner of Indian Affairs to reject any. or all bids and to disapprove any lease made on an accepted bid. Should any bid be rejected after a deposit is made, through no fault of the bidder, all moneys deposited shall be returned. The. lessee must furnish a satisfactory sat-isfactory surety bond as required re-quired by regulations. All bids muat be marked on the outside oi the envelope, "Bid on Oil and Gas Lease.
