Show BPVV Club Hears Health Talk By Local Dentist In connection with the monthly month-ly program on health, twenty-four twenty-four members of the Roosevelt BPW club met at the Frontier Grill to hear Dr. Don Johnson, local dentist, give a very interesting inter-esting discussion on health from a dental standpoint. With the president, Mrs. Lon Logan taking charge, several important business matters were discussed. Hostesses for the evening were Mrs Jesse Allen, Mrs. Lillian Wilkerson and Mrs. Vola Hancock, Han-cock, who introduced the guest Guests were greeted by Mrs. Allen who introduced the theme for the evening, featuring a part in the March of Dimes campaign. cam-paign. Three crowns were placed as centerpieces for the table, and in these members contributed donations which will assist m putting their polio mother over the top for the climax of the polio drive January 31. Mrs. R. V. Larson, mother of five children, chil-dren, was selected as the BPW polio mother. Further completing the clever table decorations were miniature crowns marking each place and the newly printed program books for the year. |
