Show Initiation And Slumfeer Party Held By FHA Club It was a gala night filled with fun and hilarity for the approximate approx-imate fifty ninth grade gin-, when initiation ceremonies for the Future Hofnemakers ot America club were held last Wednesday night, followed by a slumberless slumber party at the Roosevelt Junior High SCThe1'well arranged candlelight initiation ceremony was conduct-, ed by the following officers. Carol Memmott, president; Li la Horrocks, vice-president; Gwea Holeate secretary; Sally Bur-I.'.,.,. Bur-I.'.,.,. anH Ardis Zirker. gess, reporter; ana Areas uw. historian. Soft background music mu-sic was played by Dorothy Dill-man. Dill-man. ' . . ' Following the initiation, a program pro-gram -was presented, with a large group of FHA members participating. . Members then put on their pajamas to parade the rest of the night. : . Dancing, singing, pillow fights, etc ensued through the night, to say nothing of the initiation routine for the members. Eating commenced about 9:00 p.m. and continued until early morning by many who raided the kitchen. Refreshments chairman chair-man for the luncheon and breakfast break-fast was Janice Neilson. The girls were chaperoned by their adviser, Mrs. Helen Buxton Bux-ton and two FHA chapter mothers, moth-ers, Mrs. Harold Dillman and Mrs. Cliff Memmott. |
