Show Oily Management Talked Over At Kiw&nis fleeting The city management type of government was discussed at the regular weekly meeting of the Roosevelt Kiwanis club last night at the Frontier Grill Cafe, and members of the present city council and the mayor were guests of the club. Leading the discussion were Roy Taylor, Vernal Ver-nal city manager, and Lee Wal-' ker, member of the city council of Vernal, who were invited to inform the club on the subject. Mr. Taylor pointed out his specific and numerous duties and explained the mechanics of a city management type of government. gov-ernment. Many questions in the minds o'f the members of the club and city officials were ably answered by Mr. Taylor and Mr. Walker. Heard briefly also was Mayor Homer P. Edwards. The program was under the direction of the Public and Business Bus-iness Affairs committee, and Lawrence Pack, chairman, introduced in-troduced the speakers. President Floyd Peterson presided and announced an-nounced that next week the club will observe the 37th anniversary an-niversary of Kiwanis International, Interna-tional, and the Education committee, com-mittee, headed by David Wat-kins, Wat-kins, would arrange the program. pro-gram.
