Mrs. Zilpha Wall gave conference confer-ence helps and suggestions. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jensen and two small sons were Roosevelt Roose-velt visitors Tuesday. The Relief Society work meeting meet-ing was held at the home of Mrs. Lula Dudley. A quilt was tied for Mrs. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence C. Wall, Jr. and baby, of Roosevelt, visited Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Wall. Mrs. Wall visited at Primary for a while. Superintendent Lundell visited visit-ed at the Avalon school Monday. Mrs. Leon P. Christensen. Uintah Uin-tah County school lunch supervisor, super-visor, visited Avalon school on Thursday. Family Life lectures were held at the Chapel, Thursday afternoon after-noon and Friday evening. A bridal shower was given Friday afternoon at the Avalon Chapel, in honor of Mrs. Irvin Young. The Singing Mothers met at the home of Mrs. Lula Dudley, Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen and daughters were visitors, Saturday Satur-day evening, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jensen. Speakers at Sacrament meet-;ing, meet-;ing, Sunday, were Charles P. (Wahlquist and William Chand-ler. Chand-ler. Miss Melissa Anderson play-i play-i ed a piano solo'. Sheriff H. M. Snyder gave a very educational talk to the students at the Avalon school, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chandler Chand-ler and daughter, Paulette, left Sunday morning for Price, where they will visit with Mrs. Chandler's sister and family. Mrs. Ivy Chandler and MrsJ Elva McKee and son were vis-1 itors, Monday, at the home of Mrs. Venice Durfee. |
