Show Set February 15 As Gold And Green Ball Date A planning meeting and party was held Wednesday evening at the LDS Chapel by the officers and teachers of the M.I.A. and their partners. The date was set for the Gold and Green Ball, which will be Friday Feb. 15, with a theme of "Apple Blossom Wedding." Following the business busi-ness meeting Bunco was played, with first prize going to Mrs. Laren Ross, and consolation to Mrs. Marian Harvey. Lunch was served. Officers of the Tridell Farmstead Farm-stead Water Co. held a meeting Tuesday afternoon at the school house. Mr. Carter, supervisor of Farm Home Administration, of Vernal, met with them. Dennis Goodrich and Clyde, Bartlett were in Salt Lake last week, where they took their pre-induction physicals at Fort Douglas. Mr. Goodrich was accompanied ac-companied by his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Morrill and Stewart visited Monday in Roosevelt. Mrs. Forrest Goodrich and Mrs. Boyd Lemon were Vernal. visitors Saturday. Fireside Chat for the Junior M Men and Junior Gleaners was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Harvey, with Flora Harvey as hostess. Reed McKee was the guest speaker. . Speakers at Tx mg.
