Show Mrs. Mable Jenkins Showers Honor Two New Brides A bridal shower was held in the Ward Chapel Friday afternoon after-noon in honor of Cleo Woolley McClure. A program was given and refreshments served to a large crowd. The bride received many gifts. A shower was given in the Ward Chapel, Saturday, at 2 o'clock, in honor of Mrs. Marion Rasmussen Young. A program was given and refreshments served to a large . crowd. The bride received many lovely gifts and a large group attended the dance in the evening. Berta Woolley and Phyllis Miller, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Woolley and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Anderson. An-derson. Misses Sammie and Ina Hamilton, Ham-ilton, of Ballard, spent the weekend week-end with Lela Miller. Carolyn Ross, of Ballard, visited vis-ited with Delon Rich, Friday evening. Patsy Gines, of Ballard, visited vis-ited with Miss Earlene Warbur-ton, Warbur-ton, Friday evening. Mrs. Vic Mitchell and Mrs. Frank McClure, of Roosevelt, attended the shower for Mrs. Lynn McClure. Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Mansfield, Mans-field, of Vernal, visited Mr. and and Mrs. Golden Winn, and Carrol Car-rol Caldwell. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Winn are parents of a baby girl, born Jan. 15 at the County hospital, in Vernal. Mrs. Mary Glines, of Vernal, is visiting with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thumer Rasmussen, and family. Mrs. Weldon Woolley, of Rangely, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Milton Woolley. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Horrocks were in Roosevelt on business during the week. Caroyl Springer, of Leeton, visited with Alice Jenkins Monday Mon-day night. Mr. and Mrs. George Bigfelow visited with Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Wilkins last Sunday evening at Roosevelt. Rex Jenkins enlisted in the Marines, and left Jan. 17 by train from Salt Lake City, to his base at San Diego, California, for training. .Mrs. Matilda Moosman. of Whiterocks, visited Mrs. Boyd Moosman and family during the week. Mr. andMrs. Kenneth Hartle and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hall and family, of Leeton, last Sunday. Sike Thompson made a trip to Carbon County for a load of coal during the week. Rye Mowrey, father of Edgar Mowrey, met with an accident and broke some tof his ribs. |
