Show This Week's RECIPE . . . A tasty icebox dessert has been submitted this week by Mrs. Robert Andrews. Try this for a delightful Valentine party dessert. Graham Cracker Icebox Dessert (serves 6 generously) 2A cups graham cracker crumbs 1 cup sugar 1-3 cup butter 1 egg 2 tbs. canned milk Vi tsp. salt 1 cup crushed pineapple 1 cup crushed nuts Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg, pineapple, cream, salt and nuts. Place half of the graham cracker crumbs evenly in refrigerator re-frigerator tray. Add above pineapple pine-apple mixture, and top with remaining re-maining cracker crumbs. Let stand in refrigerator over night. Serve with whipped cream and a marachino cherry. |
