Show Relief Society Holds Meeting The following group of women wo-men met in the Relief Society room on Tuesday to make a quilt for Mrs. Lelia Merkley, of Vernal: Mrs. Beatrice Lundberg, Maude Anderson, Pearl Jenkins, Rola Jenkins, Vida Betts, Ellen Bracken, Julia Kettle, Evelyn Brighton. . Fannie Todd, Ardis Kettle, Mrs. Seth Asay and Minnie Min-nie Angus. Nita White joined them at noon and they all enjoyed en-joyed a delicious pot luck dinner. din-ner. Coming for the afternoon exercises ex-ercises were Florell Collins, Ti-lintha Ti-lintha Rasmussen, Beth Man-gum, Man-gum, Inez Squires and Myrtle Winn. Maude Anderson, work director, presented the lesson and Evelyn Brighton demonstrated demon-strated mending holes in knit sweaters. Mr. and Mrs. Alden White are rejoicing over the arrival of a new granddaughter. Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Buchanan, of Spokane, Spo-kane, Washington, are the parents par-ents of a baby girl. Mrs. Buchanan Buchan-an is the former Barbie White. Dan Whitbeck took his physical physi-cal examination for service last Wednesday. Word has been received that Stanley Womack, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Womack; had -arrived in Korea. -: Forty parents attended , the two parents classes on Sunday, the teachers are Vaughn Simper Sim-per and Wendel Johnson;' This doesn't include the mothers who are teachers in Other classes. . Mr. and Mrs. Angus Anderson motored to Salt Lake City, last Thursday. They attended the funeral fu-neral services of Mrs. Roland Glines at Union. Mrs. Glines was a cousin of Mrs. Anderson. . Clark Eldredge, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Eldredste had the misfortune to break ne iof his collar bones. Saturday. Mrs. Pearl Jenkins was a guest at . the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr.' and Mrs. Charles Jenkins, Sunday. |
