Mr. Youn arranged for our room to go on a little trip to the school lunch room. We-watched them slice the bread for our lunch and found that it requires 18 loaves of bread and 7 pounds of butter for one meal. . Mrs. Llayd told us that when they clean the trays and other utensils they wash them, then rinse them in clean water, then put them in disinfectant and then rinse them in clean water. They are then put on a rack to dry. In preparing food the lunch room workers don't prepare just any old foods', but each meal is planned . before hand. They prepare the foods that have vitamins vit-amins and proteins in them. We learned much from our trip that will tielp us in our foods unit.
