Show tleca Mrs. Melba Eksund House Warming Party Is Held Mr. and Mrs. Harold Whiting entertained the following at their new home, Sunday after-; noon: Mr. and Mrs. Evan Olsen, of Ballard; Mr. and Mrs. Orman Sullivan, of Roosevelt; Mr, and Mrs. Forrest Hancock, of Myton; Mrs. Clara Timothy and family, of Roosevelt; and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gardner and family, of Neola. A delightful dinner was served. ;' " Misses Desiree and Janice Spencer, Franklin Spencer and Kendall Schaefermeyer motored to Denver last Saturday with Harvey Creech, and came back Sunday with new cars. Mrs. Ruth Jensen spent a few days of last week in Salt Lake City with her son, Neil and. wife and small daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Winn .are the parents of a baby girl, born last Wednesday at the Roosevelt hospital. Mrs. Winn is the former form-er Helen Allred of Neola. . - Mrs. Eldon Anderton and small son, Danny, of Tridell, spent a couple of days visiting her sister. Mrs. R. A. Eksund.. The three small daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Mitchell are staying with their grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Halver-son, Halver-son, while their parents returned return-ed to their former home to brinrf their furniture back. They will be living in Neola now at the Eldon Anderton home. Calvin Anderton, of the U. S. Navy, and Garth Anderton, of Tooele, are spending a few days here and in Tridell with their brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderton, Jr. Ned Gardner, who' is in the Army, is home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Gardner. Lloyd Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Davis, is home on leave from the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Davis attended at-tended the funeral in Salt Lake for. Mrs.. Roland Glines. a sister-in-law. Marion Harrison has just returned re-turned from Phoenix, Arizona, where he obtained a load of cotton cot-ton cake for the farmers around here. Lela Moosman visited over the weekend in Roosevelt with Eva Sprouse. Reta Hutcheons, of Salt Lake City, was also a visitor of Miss Sprouse. |
