Myton surprised with a 28-20 win over Randlett, who' last week was on top with 2 wins and no losses, thus they dropped into a tie with Roosevelt and Neola. Ioka handed Montwel its third loss, 25-19. Don Jones and Scott Edring-ton, Edring-ton, with 7 points each, led the Roosevelt five in their successful success-ful conquest of Neola. R. Duncan, Dun-can, with 13, was the high scorer scor-er of the game. This game was a rough affair, and at times hardly resembled the kind of basketball M Men teams should be playing. With Todd, Gaylor and Fenn leading the way, Myton upset a favored Randlett team as they beat them 28-20. Ioka overcame a 15-11 deficit at the half as they roared back to beat Montwel Mont-wel 25-19. It was the third loss for Montwel and the first win for Myton. All Games are played at the Roosevelt Elementary school gym and the public is encouraged encour-aged to come and see the games. |
