Show Mrs. Fern Houston Send In Polio Contributions The polio drive is on but the roads are so full of snow, ice and water that Mrs. Clair Has-lem Has-lem cannot contact all the people peo-ple and wishes if there are any who she has not seen, if they will send their contributions to her. The fee that would be pleasing pleas-ing is 50 cents per person. At the Ballard Ward house a dance was given by Bennett, Gusher and Ballard to get acquainted ac-quainted with each other. Weather Weath-er conditions being unfavorable, very few attended. Bob and Lowell Dee Long were there. Mrs. John Haslem went to Provo last Sunday to spend a couple of weeks while receiving medical aid. Mrs. Lorraine Bolton is in Neola visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Harrison. Mrs. Velois Morrill, of Tri-dell, Tri-dell, spent the day with her mother while her husband was taking the assessment of the county. Mrs. Frances Bowen and Kay were Vernal visitors last Tuesday. Tues-day. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Colton were dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Frances Bowen. Thursday. Thurs-day. On account of the bad roads here, we will not be able t'i have Relief Society, or Mutual, but will try to hold Sacrament meetings. . This week the Home Demonstration Demon-stration Agent was going to have a class in tailoring, unless the county grader gives us some help, there will be no classes, the roads are so bad. |
