Prof. Maud May Babcock gave an address on hygienic clothing before the young women of the Homeseeker' Circle last Saturday afternoon. J.S. Powell, for the past three years instructor In art at the college, leaves on Sunday for two years of study In Europe. The popularity of the college library on Sunday afternoons Is Increasing with the pleasant weather. A banquet, arranged by Miss Bessie Smith and Mr. Clark, was offered of-fered the class'by the college and Prof. Langton wastoastmaster. Toasts were given by President Wldtsoe, Mr. Clark, Prof Peterson and Miss Huntsman all of whom havo come in close contact con-tact with the work of the forestry class. Two members of the sophomoie class, Preston and Calne, left Friday, for New York on their way to fill a mission In Germany. After tho play on Saturday night the members of tho "Pygmalion and Galatea" cost entertained the university univer-sity players, Miss Babcock, Mr. Peder-sen, Peder-sen, Prnf. Larson and Prof. Arnold, at a supper which was served on tho stage of the opera house. Toasts were responded to by Mr. Young, Mr. Tall-man Tall-man and Mr. Pcderscn; Miss Barnes gave a vocal solo and college songs and conversation made the time pass quickly until 1 a. m., when the party broke up. During Miss Babcock's stay In Logan Lo-gan she was the guest of President and Mrs. Wldtsoe. On Sunday they entertained en-tertained at dinner for her, their guests being Mr. and Mrs. Pederscn and Richard Young. A baseball league between the five Utah colleges has been formed and the Spauldlng Sporting Goods company com-pany has offered a silver cup to the champion team The llrst A, C, game will bo played with the U. of U. In Salt Lake on April 10, and the following follow-ing day the A. 0. will play the L. D. S , and on April 13 will have a game with the B, Y. U. at Provo. k The two lectures given at the college col-lege by Dr. Relnsch on Tuesday were well attended. The morning lecture was on Brazil and the ecniug as on the present Russian crisis.
