Show Norm Evans holds reins of Wrangler group PAROWAN - The Parowan Red Hill Wranglers held their annual elections Friday Feb. 27. Norm Evans was re-elected as president with Ellis Bryant as vice president. Roy Whitlock will serve as secretary and treasurer. Paul Fife was elected as track and grounds chairman. Mary Gae Evans, publicity and Mr. and Mrs. Kay Chamberlain in charge of trail rides and social events. The wranglers had a very successful year in 75, sponsoring two race meets and the UJSWRCA south Region Show, and District 9 USWRCA show. Although the club is one of the smallest in the state, two members won high honors for 75 as Vyonne Chamberlain and Paul Fife won high point honors over all others in the state, and were awarded trophies at the jamboree held in the Terrace ballroom in January. Plans for 76 include participation par-ticipation in state competitions, sponsoring a Memorial Day and July 4th race meet and a number of trail rides open to the public. The annual membership drive is now on and anyone wishing to join the club may call any member for more information. Anyone 16 and over in this area is eligible to join. |
