i . V i V f x I " I V TO PRESENT RECITAL. Hiroko Yalima, violinist, will present a recital at the SUSC Recital Hall Thursday, Mar. 4 at 8:15 p.m. Her appearance is sponsored by Cedar City Music Arts. Hiroko Yojima in Concert at So. Utah State Music Hall - Violinist Hiroko Yajima will be in concert tonight at 8:15 p.m. at the Southern Utah State College Recital Hall. The program is sponsored by the Cedar City Music Arts. Hiroko Yajima is a petite, Japanese girl who can play the varnish off her violin. In appearance ap-pearance she is miniature and very feminine, but she has the tone and musical personality of a robust virtuoso. Her playing is big, emphatic, outgoing, warm, and always under fine technical control, and she has complete aplomb on the stage. At age 18, Miss Yajima performed as soloist with the " Japan Philharmonic as winner of a national competition. She came to New York in 1966 and worked with Ivan Galamian at the Juilliard School. Mi?s Yajima will be in Cedar City Thursday and Friday to give recitals and programs to the students in the Iron County Schools. Students of Iron County are welcome at the Thursday evening concert when accompanied ac-companied by an adult. Tickets will be sold at the door for $3.50 and all students will be admitted ! free.
