They are both here at the home of Kenneth and Colleen Williams recuperating. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Eastman j spent Sat. in Las Vegas, Nev. Bert went there on business for : Deseret Industries. John and Teresa Batty spent several days in Salt Lake City where Teresa went for a medical check up with her doctor. Thursday evening a pot luck supper was held at the ward cultural hall for all Boy Scouts and parents and all ex-service men and their partners. Mr. and Mts. Vergene Davis of Las Vegas, Nev. spent the weekend here visiting relatives and friends. By Carma Williams Mrs. Edith Larson of Provo, has been here for three weeks with her half sister, Hazel Davies. ' Mr. and Mrs. Lional Davis of Henderson, Nevada spent the weekend here visiting relatives. Mr. Joe Leeder returned to Nev. with the Davis's to spend a few days visiting his daughter and son-in-law Vaneen and husband. His grandson Kevin Zohner brought him home. Brad Storms of Costa Mesa, Calif, visited a short time with Frank and Harlene Sheppard. The Sheppards met Brad in Houston, Texas when he was serving on an LDS Mission there. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves spent part of last week in Sandy with their daughter and son-in-law Fae Donna and Henry Abelehouzer. Mr. and Mrs. Truit Morrell took their two grandsons Jeff and Brennan Olson to Oxnard, Calif, last week to see their Olson grandparents and their mother Karen. Mrs. Colleen Williams spent a week in Salt Lake City with her father, Jim Hastings who went into the hospital for surgery. They returned home this week and Jim's wife Mattie Hastings 'd been in Valley View Medical All the young people of the ward enjoyed a chicken dinner Sunday afternoon held at the Red t Cliff Campgrounds at Leeds, Ut. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Prisby and family, and Margaret Ingram . and Richard MacBride from St. Louis, Mo. traveled to Springville for Richard to have a visit with his sister Laura and Patricia. Roma Wood and Opal Williams have taken their mother, Hettie Pollock out of the Rest Home and are taking care of her. At the present time she is with Roma , but will be with Opal in the near 1 future. |
