Show Laura Bossard dies in Salt Lake Hospital Laura Duke Bossard, 63, Cedar City, died Feb. 27, 1976 in a Salt Lake hospital of cancer. Born October 3, 1912, Heber City, to Alfred and Janet Gardner Duke. Married Sterling R. Bossard June 28, 1935, Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church having served in many positions. Member, Governor's Committee for Handicapped Children. Secretary Cedar City Lions Club. Survivors are husband; son, daughters, Alan S., Rexburg, Idaho; Mrs. Darrell (Jan) Zufelt, Bountiful; Mrs. Anthony (Karen) Andrews, Bellflower, Calif; 11 grandchildren; brother, sisters, Otto Duke, Salt Lake City; Susie Andrus, Lava Hot Springs, Idaho; Rene Culver, Redondo Beach, Calif. Funeral Services were held Monday, March 1, 1976 in the Cedar City Ninth LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Joseph C. Felix officiating. The Family prayer was offered by Alan S. Bossard with Eleanor Hays playing the prelude; postlude LAURA DUKE BOSSARD music and Ray H. Buchanan giving the invocation. Musical selections consisted of a vocal solo "Somewhere My Love" by Ralph R. Hafen; Ninth Ward Choir sang "Still, Still With Thee" and a vocal solo "Prayer Perfect" by Elizabeth Bossard with Evelyn Jones doing the ; accompanying. The speaker was Grant H. Williams with a tribute by Nola Kupfer and remarks by : Bishop Joseph C. Felix. The Benediction was offered by Wilmer Anderson and Arnel T. i Dastrup dedicated the grave. 1 Interment was in the Richfield City Cemetery under the direction of theSpilsbury & Graff Mortuary. |
