Show CHS make plans for State Meet Plans are beinq formulated at the Cedar High School to provide for transportation and lodging for students planning to attend the State 3A basketball tournament tour-nament in Provo next week, it is announced by Gerald Hawley, principal, should the Redmen win their way into the tournament tour-nament with a victory over Payson Friday night. Tentatively plans are that students may sign up to attend the tournament with bus transportation tran-sportation to and from Provo and two nights lodging at the Holiday Inn at $15 each. Arrangements are also being made for a bus to leave Cedar City Tuesday, Mar. 9 at 11 a.m. -travel to Provo to attend the first round of play scheduled at 4:10 p.m. and return that night. The buses would be back in Cedar City by midnight. ' Students will not be excused from school Wednesday. Second round of play would be Thursday and buses would leave the school Thursday in time to attend the Cedar High game that afternoon or evening, lodging would be provided Thursday and Friday night. Buses would return Saturday following Cedar City's final game, Hawley indicated. In addition students who will be attending' the tournament independent of the school must have a permission slip signed by their parents assuming responsibility, the Principal stated. |
