Show Field Sports Tourney Being Planned By Explorer Cabinet Leland Fiife, president of the Cedar Breaks District Explorer Cabinet announced today that the spring quarter cabinet activity activ-ity is now in the planning stage and is rapidly approaching readiness. readi-ness. Te Cabinet voted to hold a district dis-trict Explorer Field Sports Tournament Tour-nament on April 16, (this is a correction of information re-cieved re-cieved by Post Advisors which gave the date of April 9). A committee, composed of Cabinet members, with an adult advisor, was appointed by the Cabinet to plan and carry out this event. Members of the committee com-mittee are: Ned Lunt, Doug Carter, Car-ter, Keith Pickering, and Sammy Hall. Their committee advisor is George Banks. The Field Sports Tournament will be held at the Archery Range north of the Painted Hills Golf Course and will begin at 1:30 p. m. on Saturday, April 16. All Explorers from Cedar City, Kanarraville, New Harmony, and New Castle are urged to sharpen up their skills in the fields of Marksmanship, Archery, Skish (casting) and running obstacle courses so they might compete for the trophies in these tournament tourna-ment events. A fee of 25 cents per Explorer will be charged for each event entered.
