Show Junior High School To Present Musical Friday Night "Swinging High", a "swinging" new musical comedy, will be presented pre-sented Friday, March 25, in the auditorium at the Cedar City Junior High School. Curtain time is 8 p. m. "Swinging High" is a happy show and adults and teenagers alike will love the hilarious story and will be humming the catchy tunes for weeks to come. Songs include such numbers as "Cruel Days", "Higher Education", Educa-tion", "Experience" and "Polly Doodle Day". The role of Mr. McDuff, a for- midable principal, is played by Robert Gleave and Miss Pinker-ton, Pinker-ton, a teacher who bravely opposes op-poses his new regime, is portrayed portray-ed by Denise Terry. Other leading lead-ing roles are, Connie, Judy Har-grave; Har-grave; Miss Cook, Vanna Hunter; Hunt-er; Miss Ramsay, Sharon Jolley; Mr. Blum, Jay Wilcken; Bill, Bruce Blackner; Mr. Carlyle, Elmer El-mer Evans; Senator Wiffwaff, Frank Christiansen. There will be no charge for this production. It is being presented pre-sented with the compliments of the Iron County School District. |
