Show PHS Coach, Player Guests of CSU Quarterback Club To wind up the basketball activities for this year at the Parowan High School Coach Charles Brinkerhoff and Johnny Guffey, member of this year's basketball team at the Parowan school, were guests at a basketball basket-ball awards night and dinner in Cedar City Monday night. The affair was held in the cafeteria of the student center at College of Southern Utah witli the Quarterback Quar-terback Club at CSU hosting the event. At the dinner awards were presented to ten players of Region Re-gion Eight, who had been picked by Radio Station KSUB as the all-Region squad. Guffey was selected se-lected to the team and was the recipient of an award at the dinner. din-ner. Johnny has been an outstanding out-standing athlete at the Parowan High for the past two years, playing play-ing football, basketball and baseball base-ball as they came around. During the past basketball season sea-son he has been the playmaker for the Ram squad which rated a second place finish in the Millard Mil-lard division of Region Eight. |
